Arrival in Cochin: You'll start your journey in Cochin (also known as Kochi), which is a vibrant city known for its colonial history and cultural diversity. Explore Kochi: Spend the day visiting the historic Fort Kochi area. Key attractions include: Chinese Fishing Nets at Fort Kochi Beach Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace) Jewish Synagogue in the Jew Town St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India Kerala Folklore Museum for a glimpse into Kerala's traditional art and culture. Marine Drive for a scenic walk along the waterfront.

Travel to Munnar: After breakfast, drive from Cochin to Munnar (approximately 4-5 hours). Munnar is a popular hill station in the Western Ghats, known for its lush tea plantations, misty landscapes, and cool climate. Explore Tea Gardens: Once you arrive, visit the vast tea gardens that cover the rolling hills, giving Munnar its distinctive beauty. Tea Museum: Learn about the history of tea production in the region at the Tata Tea Museum. Eravikulam National Park: If you have time, visit this park, which is home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr (a type of mountain goat) and offers great views of the Western Ghats.

Mattupetty Dam: Visit this scenic dam surrounded by tea plantations, and consider a boat ride on the reservoir. Echo Point: A beautiful spot where you can shout and hear your voice echo across the hills. Attukal Waterfalls: A stunning waterfall located on the Munnar–Thekkady road. Kundala Lake: A peaceful lake surrounded by tea estates, great for a relaxing boat ride.

Travel to Thekkady: After breakfast, head to Thekkady (approximately 3-4 hours by car). Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary: The main attraction in Thekkady is the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can go on a boat safari on the Periyar Lake to spot wild elephants, bison, and other animals. Spice Plantations: Thekkady is also famous for its spice plantations. You can take a guided tour to learn about the cultivation of spices like cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, and cloves.

Travel to Kumarakom/Alleppey: Drive to either Kumarakom or Alleppey (approximately 4-5 hours), both of which are known for their beautiful backwaters. If you choose Kumarakom, you can visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, which is a haven for bird watchers. If you head to Alleppey, you can take a houseboat cruise through the backwaters, which is one of the most unique and serene experiences in Kerala. Enjoy the views of lush paddy fields, coconut palms, and traditional Kerala village life from the comfort of your houseboat. Overnight Stay: If you're on a houseboat, enjoy a traditional Kerala-style dinner onboard and spend the night cruising through the backwaters.

Return to Cochin: After breakfast, head back to Cochin (approximately 1.5-2 hours by car). Leisure Time in Cochin: Depending on your flight or train schedule, you can visit any attractions you missed on Day 1 or simply relax at one of the many cafés along the coast. Departure: Head to Cochin International Airport or the train station for your onward journ
