2. Badrinath: The Divine Abode of Lord Vishnu Located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, Badrinath is renowned as one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The pilgrimage to Badrinath commences from the town of Joshimath, where devotees embark on a scenic journey through the picturesque vistas of the Garhwal Himalayas. Upon reaching Badrinath, pilgrims are greeted by the towering spires of the Badrinath Temple, a majestic edifice adorned with intricate carvings and sculptures. Set against the backdrop of snow-clad peaks and the tranquil banks of the Alaknanda River, this sacred shrine radiates an aura of divine grace and spiritual fervor.
